About Sigiriya

Sigiriya, the Lion Rock, is a 5th-century royal citadel carved into a 200-metre granite monolith. Ringed by water gardens and frescoed rock walls, it is one of Asia's most dramatic archaeological sites and a UNESCO World Heritage wonder.
